Celebration of World Creativity and Innovation Day 2022
COVID-19 and its adverse impacts have disrupted nearly all aspects of life for all groups in society. For young people, COVID has posed considerable risks to our education, employment, and mental health, and it is we and other future generations that will bear its long-term economic, environmental, and social consequences.
That’s why on this WCID we aim to inspire, equip and connect interested young people with the knowledge, networks, and tools to help shape a more inclusive, sustainable, and youth-driven post-COVID recovery plan in a creative manner. Young people are the most affected demographic when it comes to the world’s rising socio-economic, political, and environmental crises. Yet, they are also the best placed to lead the transition to a more equitable world. We will host dialogue recognizing that if this is to be a turning point diverse ideas and recommendations must be heard and acted upon.
