Italian Design Day

Italian Design Day is an annual theme-based global event launched in 2017 by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, in collaboration and with the support of the Ministry of Culture. The event offers promotional and cultural events created by a network of embassies, consulates, and Italian Trade Agency offices worldwide. It aims to support the promotion of design and internationalization of a strategic industrial sector for Italian exports.

This year’s theme highlighted some of the current challenges that design faces, including promoting a transition of lifestyles that combines functionality and well-being with sustainability and reduced environmental impact, and regeneration of objects and spaces.
