Youth Climate Collective – Climate Change Awareness Video for Earth Day!

The Youth Climate Collective (YCC) is a group of Toronto-based youth, powered by Lakeshore Arts, ages 12 – 16, exploring the intersection of art and activism and the role of creativity in tackling the climate crisis as we plan and activate green initiatives in our city. One of the main focuses of this collective is youth-led initiatives that cultivate bright ideas and innovative action plans. We call our YCC youths “Change Makers”.

Through planning, creating, and executing their ideas, YCC Change Makers advocate powerful and engaging climate change awareness movements and initiatives. YCC is wrapping up an 8-week virtual mentorship program that focuses on how our Change Makers can translate their passions for climate change into the creation of a creative awareness video for Earth Day.
