Wayfinding
A virtual celebration introducing the Inner Development Goals with creative prompts to get your
imaginative and collaborative juices flowing.
The Inner Development Goals were developed to help people to work together to cultivate the
personal dynamics and skills to tackle the Sustainable Development Goals. Based around 5
categories – being, thinking, relating, collaborating, and acting – the goals have been designed to
enable you to develop the co-creation skills, creativity, reflexivity, and resilience to undertake the
important innovative work of the SDGs.
How to access:
Each category will be introduced in a short written post each day of WCIW week along with creative
prompts and provocations to help you to explore your innovative capabilities. These posts will be
included in the free Methods and Madness: Notes on Creativity Substack publication. Either
subscribe to get an email prompt delivered to your inbox each day of WCIW Week or bookmark this
webpage to access the posts at your convenience.
Methods and Madness is written by Meredith Lewis, who is a writer, mentor, and transformative
facilitator. She focuses on creative identity and process: how do individuals and groups perceive
their creative identity? Are they confident in connecting to their imaginations? How do external
conditions affect internal lives? Meredith helps people to find their way from private imaginings to
meaningful action.
Inner Development Goals: Transformational Skills for Sustainable Development are “a global
initiative that develops inner abilities, skills and other qualities for people and organizations involved
in efforts to contribute to a more sustainable global society.” You can find more information about
