Enhance Workplace Creativity during WCIW

“You’re much more imaginative than you think, but your workplace — which needs your very best ideas — may be driving the creativity right out of you.” Professor Jeanne Liedtka, University of Virginia.

Why not use World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15-21 to enhance creativity in your workplace?

WCIW April 15-21 occurs each year to remind people to

  • Generate new ideas
  • Make new decisions
  • Take new actions

Open the door for new potentials to emerge at the same time as are so many others all over the world.

April 15 is Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday. Using his example, combine two different needs to create an inventive idea. Combine a meeting with exercise, for example to arrive at holding a meeting where people stand. Combine a presentation with curiosity and have attendees ask questions of the presenter rather than the presenter doing a ‘show-and-tell’ to start off. Combine WCIW with lunch and together with your colleagues hold a conversation about what it might be like to have a creative workplace… and what you might do to support it.

Join the World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15-21 movement.  Submit your creative act for WCIW 2015 here.

Open doors for new potentials

All of these are true:

Your creativity Is like

  • Everyone else’s creativity
  • Some others’ creativity
  • No others’ creativity

When you engage in World Creativity and Innovation Week April 15-21, you open doors for new potentials to emerge, along with thousands of others all over the world.
