Creativity in Captivity: Interview with Al Qaeda hostage, Stephen McGown
How can we innovate in adversity? Stephen McGown is Al-Qaeda’s longest-held captive. He was seized in Mali, in 2011 and held for ransom by militant extremists. With nothing but the clothes on his back, his creativity, and a positive attitude, Stephen managed to survive the harsh desert conditions, avoid being killed by his captors, and learn about true freedom, before being released in 2017. In this unique, live interview with Stephen, set up especially for our creative thinking community, you will learn about the power of a creative mindset and how to innovate when the odds are against you.
