First International Workshop: Fostering Innovation to Strengthen Students’ Skills for the Labor Market (FIW2025)

A joint International Workshop Between Mergasor Technical Institute/ Erbil Polytechnic University and World Creativity &Innovation Week, in coordination with the Directorate of Caree Development Center (CDC), under the theme “International Workshop: Fostering Innovation to Strengthen Students’ Skills for the Labor Marke”.
The Workshop aims to bridge the gap between academic and labor market demands by equipping students with essential skills and fostering innovative thinking aligned with today’s job market. Through the active involvement of the Coordination and Career Development Center at our institute, we strive to empower students to thrive in a rapidly evolving professional landscape. Facilitating the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and best practices will lead to innovative solutions to global challenges.

The specific objectives are to:
– Inspire Entrepreneurship by showcasing success stories, creative solutions, and business models from the region and beyond,

– Encourage Cultural Expression through a creativity exhibition and food festival.
– Foster Networking Opportunities for students, startups, and stakeholders to collaborate and exchange ideas.
