Transforming Trash into Treasure

From Waste to reusable resources: Taking account the circular economy, Markets needs to be encourage to reuse. Our #iWasteResponsibly Project focuses on this two main themes “Circular Economy & Transforming Trash into Treasure”. It is a global concern at the amount of waste we produce. The World produces 2.01 billion tones of waste annually. 33% of this waste is not manage properly. I think we need policies and coherent strategy that will allow for recycling. We are using our creative mindset to create awareness on the SDG goal No. 12.

We want to see a safe and clean environment. The first dramatic step towards sustainability which I decided to take is the reduction of plastic. I also realize how difficult it was to cut plastic out of my life! just as everything these days is made from plastic. I learned how everything we do, every decision we make in our lives has an impact on our planet. The first thing I dug right is the magnitude of global plastic pollution crisis. I could not bear the fact on our current trajectory, and the there will be more plastic than fish in the ocean by 2050. This year I take my environmental activism further by using social media platform coupled with my creativity my team and I were able to reach out to 100s of people on creating climate and environmental awareness for a sustainable planet.
