Vatican Expo – Osaka, Japan

The theme of EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan “Designing the future society for our lives”, was chosen by the Japan Association for the 2025 World Expo and is an invitation to people from all over the world to build the future of society, creating a world in which knowledge is used to help solve the problems facing humanity.

161 countries are expected to participate, as well as 9 international organizations, with over 28 million visitors expected.

The EXPO area will be divided into 3 sub-themes: “Connecting Lives”, “Empowering Lives” and “Saving Lives”.

In this third area, the Italian pavilion will, for the first time in a universal exhibition, host the Holy See presence in a large and well-defined space, where significant cultural events will be organized.
