Asia-Pacific GSDR launch and workshop

The Asia-Pacific regional workshop for the Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) 2023 was held in New Delhi, India, from October 22 to 24, 2024. This event was part of a global series aimed at operationalizing the report’s findings. The workshop served two primary purposes: introducing the GSDR framework to practitioners for national and local SDG policy-making and implementation, and supporting government experts and other stakeholders in applying the report’s recommendations in Voluntary National Reviews (VNRs) and other sustainable development strategies. Participants included policymakers, civil society members, local communities, youth, academia, and the private sector, with a focus on countries preparing VNRs for the High-level Political Forum in 2025.
