Creative Central Asia 2025: How to Measure the Impact of Creative Industries
We are pleased to announce the sixth edition of Creative Central Asia (CCA), which will be held on January 22, 2025 in Almaty. The event will be held at MOST Hub (2/2 Khodzhanov Street) and will be dedicated to the topic “How to Measure the Impact of Creative Industries”.
If you’re a creative entrepreneur, an investor with social impact, or part of a community of experts shaping the future of sustainable creative ecosystems, this is the event for you. Book your place by filling out the registration form.
This year’s CCA is organized in partnership with MOST, Central Asia’s first business incubator, known for supporting entrepreneurial ecosystems and promoting exponential growth through research and expertise. MOST’s focus on driving sustainable growth is key as we seek to address the challenge of measuring the impact of creative industries.
In many countries, including Kazakhstan, the creative economy is at an early stage, and effective methods for assessing its impact have not yet been developed. Traditional economic approaches often fail to fully reflect the unique features of creative industries, underscoring the need to create new, innovative strategies to assess their real value and potential.
Access to finance remains a significant challenge for creative entrepreneurs, underscoring the need to develop financial models that address the unique needs of this dynamic sector. To address these challenges, we have produced a new report, “An Innovative Approach to Pricing Creative Enterprises to Attract Socially Impacted Investment in Kazakhstan,” which explores innovative impact assessment strategies for creative enterprises.
These important questions will be in the spotlight at the upcoming Creative Central Asia event, where experts and practitioners will discuss the opportunities and solutions shaping the creative economy.

The event will feature local experts and a guest from the UK, Gill Wildman.
