Educators as Creative Imaginers
The event by the name of Educators as Creative Imaginers has the following rationale. We know that imagination and creativity are interconnected just like the two sides of a coin. Although the concept “creative imagination” is acknowledged by scholars, it seems that its application to education is not well addressed. The current half day event is a seminar which intended to sensitize potential and high-level educators on the concept. We are intended to see Education and training from a creative imagination point of view. This is due to the fact that learning is about engaging students in imagination and creativity. Then, the concept and theory of creative imagination can be seen from a philosophical view too. That is thought provoking.
