Festival of Research About Time
Hold a speed lecture and/or a stand activity!
In connection with the annual nationwide Festival of Research, Aarhus University will be opening its doors to the general public on Thursday 28 April 2022 from 14:00 to 18:00 in and around Stakladen. This is an opportunity for you and your fellow researchers to present your work to a popular audience.
The theme of this year’s Festival of Research at Aarhus University is TIME in a broad sense. Perhaps you conducted a study over several years – or an experiment over a few days. You might be researching classical antiquity, the COVID-19 pandemic, or the youth. Regardless of your area and whether your research field is many light years away or concerns the here-and-now, we hope you will find inspiration in the theme, which we encourage you to integrate into your activity – as a speed lecture or/and a stand activity. If you hold a stand activity, why not include a timed competition?
How to get involved
Both seasoned researchers and junior research talents can get involved, and all creative ideas within the TIME theme are welcome: the more spectacular and interactive, the better. You can show your research through one or both of the following activities, which have previously been well received by the public:
