FINS Creative Factory

FINS jewelry was originally designed with the SCAMPER ideation method in mind. Using P, put to another use, our jewelry uses the fins of invasive lionfish as a focal point, highlighting their natural patterns, colors, and beauty. We used the local and native designs of lionfish jewelry as a springboard to make it more accessible for the everyday person to wear – incorporating sterling silver and stainless steel into our designs.

While FINS jewelry is typically made solely by founders, Abby & Willie, for World Creativity & Innovation Week/Day, FINS Belize will be showing and teaching Reef Conservation International volunteers the entire process of our jewelry creations. They will be hands-on involved in creating the jewelry and learning how to teach about the lionfish invasion.

We will also launch our website for pre-sales on World Creativity & Innovation Day.
