To be innovative, sometimes means to make and learn from mistakes. This year’s Furead Festival, we will use the theme WIS IN MIS, which means Wisdom In Mistake.
Families participating in Furead Festival 2023 – WIS IN MIS will read a book named “ The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes”. Then the kids will record a video showing their creative view on mistakes. The mistake could be the one they made before, or their investigation of mistakes from other people. Parents will also present their innovative thinking on what to do when they see their kids making a mistake. We also invite the author of the book “The Girl Who Never Made Mistakes” to join us, to give feedbacks and encouragements for children’s creative views.
The videos of the participants’ creative views will be shared online. Participants will also give public speeches at their own communities during April 15-21 to inspire the creativity of people around them.
We want to send the message to the families that mistakes are not terrible. Be innovative and don’t be afraid to make mistakes.
