Innovation Workshop: Make-a-Thon in a Box
Design better together. In this hands-on workshop, learn how to prepare and use toolkits to help your organization involve multiple stakeholders throughout the design process. Attendees will get to participate and experience the make-a-thon toolkit designed by Collabo Creative. Centric is also partnering with communityINNOVATE’s Indy Youth Empowerment Challenge. Learn how to use and apply your toolkit as the group helps designs solutions for this year’s challenge. The Indy Youth Empowerment Challenge is inspired by a group of students at Warren Central High School. Youth are an important component of community development and crave recognition as equal contributors in shaping a just society. When youth become engaged in community activities they develop effective leadership skills and a sense of purpose. Collabo Creative is a Service Design and Creative Strategy Consultancy that utilizes a people-centered approach to both commercial and social innovation projects. Collabo works with businesses, organizations, and communities to improve products and services through helping clients deeply understand the unique experiences of the people they serve. Anyone responsible for or interested in Design Thinking and Social Innovation will benefit from this workshop.
