InnoWaste
With the help of the workshop, a sensitivity for the topic Responsible consumption and production patterns is to be created (SDG Number 12).
Using an image analysis entitled The plastic bag is only the tip of the iceberg, the production cycle of a consumer product is discussed and the problems associated with one particular step – correct waste separation – are pointed out.
Problems like these can only be solved in the future with the help of innovative competencies. The four P’s of Creativity (creative product, creative process, creative framework, creative person) are discussed.

This is followed by a creativity technique for developing a creative product yourself. Brainstorming rules and the PASSLA technique will be discussed. A small warm-up exercise (Danish-Clapping Game) will activate the students.
The 36 students are divided into 7 groups, each group is assigned a mentor who has experience in creative problem solving. Each group performs the PASSLA technique to develop an optimized waste separation system for the school.
The groups’ best solutions are presented.
