Originality
Cleatu, and Baroque Interiors are planning to celebrate World Creativity Innovation Week by organizing an event for those recognized as innovators by the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority (EIPA). EIPA showed that more than 2000 innovations had been protected by patents, including new inventions (97), utility model patents (1024), and industrial design patents (931)2. Many of these inventions and creative designs have not been implemented, promoted, or formally introduced. No single private entity has developed a concerted method to finance them except for the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, the Ethiopian Intellectual Property Authority, and a few public universities. Our aim is to honor WCID/W by establishing a platform to introduce and link these inventions and designs with those who can and are willing to finance it
