The Creativity Hub for Advanced Teachers
This first workshop explores the nature of Creativity and its importance in English Language Teaching (ELT) and will start by suggesting we must accept the importance of play in the intellectual development of the learner and to play with and in the target language. Creativity will be viewed as a natural extension of childhood play and a vital ingredient of the language classroom right up until adulthood. Success in language acquisition will be shown to be related to the extent to which the teacher involves herself and the students in creative experiences.
