UJ World Creativity and Innovation 2026 – IGNITE³ Summit – Human X AI, Human Genius, Collective Creativity
This in-person event will feature four facilitators and a performance by the Joburg Theatre. Session 1: Unleash your Inner Da Vinci, Einstein & Picasso: Innovate & Elevate! Facilitator: Dr. Cherylene de Jager. This masterclass introduces Creative Intelligence (CQ) as a critical capability for navigating the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Participants will explore how to apply structured creativity tools and frameworks to drive innovation, build partnerships between education and industry, and address real-world challenges. Session 2: Using AI as your Partner in Creativity. Facilitator: Dr Jennifer Greenblatt. This session reframes AI as a collaborative thinking partner rather than a competitor. Participants will learn how AI can enhance problem-solving, ideation, and action planning—unlocking deeper levels of creativity while maintaining human ownership of ideas. Session 3: Creative Confidence in the Age of AI: The 7 Laws of Mindful AI Use. Facilitator: Dr Arno Louw. An engaging exploration of how to use AI responsibly and creatively. This session introduces the 7 Laws of Mindful AI Use, equipping participants with tools to strengthen reflection, judgement, and innovation in an AI-driven world. This session is not to be missed!
