What is the Future of Creativity?
The Canadian Network for Imagination and Creativity is hosting an online round table debate titled “What is the Future of Creativity?”. The event will take place on Thursday, April 9th, from 7:00–8:00 PM ET (8:00–9:00 PM AT) and will be held via Zoom.
The discussion will be hosted by Stan Baines and will feature three guest speakers: (1) Liane Gabora, a psychology professor known for her work on creativity and cultural evolution, (2) Robert Mizzi, a Canada Research Chair focused on creative and continuous learning, and (3) Margo Picher-Lévesque, a student filmmaker exploring storytelling, visual culture, and AI.
The event invites participants to engage in a collaborative discussion exploring imagination, creativity, and innovation, with an emphasis on diverse perspectives—from established researchers to emerging creative voices.
It is open to all attendees and encourages active participation in thoughtful dialogue about the evolving future of creativity.
